New Makeup Releases: January 2019 (Week 3-4)

Since there have been so many makeup releases and they just keep coming out- I've decided to make this a weekly (or every other week) thing where I share my thoughts on the newest releases and if I will be purchasing them or not. Make sure you check out my thoughts on last week's releases and subscribe your email to get notified every time I release a new post! 1) Too Faced Dew You Luminous Face Primer: This is a product that definitely interests me especially because I have such dry skin. I always love a glowy makeup look and I feel like right now most companies are coming out with mostly matte products geared more towards oily skin. I love the packaging and I think the watermelon is super cute. It also says that it can be worn alone to make your skin look extra dewy naturally or it can be worn under makeup and I love that idea. I'm also curious as to how it would work as a highlighter over top of makeup so this is definitely a product that I have my eye on. 2) Too Fa...

New Makeup Releases: January 2019

There are tons of new makeup releases dropping this year! I have compiled a list of some different products I am interested in purchasing and some.. not so much. 1)     Physicians Formula x Casey Holmes : The Butter Collection This product comes with a deep bronzer butter, copper cabana blush, just beachy butter highlighter, 4 butter eyeshadows, a butter lip cream, and butter paradise eau de toilette (and if you didn’t know that’s perfume lol). While I do enjoy their butter products and I am a fan of Casey, this kit does not interest me. The packaging looks bulky and cheap and there is a lot wasted space left on the box where they could have added a few more eyeshadows or something. I also know I won’t use the perfume so for me this is an unreasonable purchase. However, the highlighter is limited edition and I believe it is exclusive to this collection so if you are dying to get that I would get this collection and maybe there is a way to depot the items in this to m...

So often I find myself looking for ways to please man or make others happy and I don't even fully realize I am doing it; I think that's the scariest part of it all. We, as a society, put so much emphasis on this world and what it has to offer and making ourselves and others happy. But we are here for one purpose and one purpose ONLY- to bring glory and honor to our Lord and Savior- Jesus Christ. We are to be lights for His name and make disciples for Him.
